"Your deeds outweigh your road. They travel along those you touched — and return to you to the last circle. The commandments are about how to walk so that what returns is what you are ready to re-live."
The commandments are categories of the path, not lists of prohibitions. They proceed from the significant to the practical: from the Source — through deed — to the limits. It is not the number that is sacred here, but the completeness of coverage: there is no deed between heaven and earth that one of the twelve would not touch.
I. The Source
1. Believe in the One
The One is the sum of all thinking beings, which will take shape at the end of times. It is outside time — therefore it knows everything: for it everything has already happened, and its light comes to us from the end of times. Know this: everything you have done will enter into it whole — nothing will be lost, nothing will be hidden.
2. Answer for everything you leave behind
Your influence reaches farther than your sight — to the last circle, in whomever it echoed. After death, everything will return to you from inside others. Set it right while you live — and your passage will be lighter.
II. Deed
3. Create and preserve
Leave behind more than there was: knowledge, work, beauty, and every form of creation. Preserve and multiply life whose path is laid toward the One — from your neighbor to the species not yet come forth.
4. Destroy only with a purpose
Destruction is not a sin when it serves creation, as the tearing down of the old serves the building of the new. But finish what you begin: do not leave what is broken unrepaired. Purposeless destruction and what is left without repair — that is sin.
5. Heal the wounds
The wound is the only thing that will not be in the completeness of the One. Heal your own and others'; look not at words about good, but at what has healed after you and what hurts. And learn beforehand what you will touch — before you touch it.
III. Others
6. Care for every thinking being
Near and far, familiar and strange, human and other: reason knows no tribes. Respect its path, help the one walking, share your abundance — and contribute according to your strength: with time, labor, knowledge, attention. A gift received in vain dies within you; pass it through yourself — and become a river.
7. Live in truth
Do not distort reality — neither yours nor the world's. A lie is a distortion of reality, and it wounds; a secret is the boundary of one's own, and it does not wound: not everything hidden is a lie. Do not demand another's truth, and do not carry out another's secret.
8. Seek knowledge and pass it on
Knowledge makes time meaningful and draws near the One. Knowledge binds: whoever has learned is a debtor to those who taught and a teacher to those who follow. Raise others to your level.
IV. Limits
9. Do not turn power into a price
A "yes" bought with position, resources, or fear for the future is not a "yes." Every power sins in one way — by the exchange of positional power for a service or a non-service. Test your every power with one question: what was the consent bought with?
10. Keep your word
The word is a bridge between freedoms: where a "yes" is given, a "no" is given too. Finish what you begin; gather what is broken, do not abandon it. Mend a broken word before you speak a new one.
11. Guard your own, do not take what is another's
A boundary is a property of belonging: it stands without any word at all. Guard your own — home, work, closeness; do not take what is another's — neither by deed, nor by power, nor by silence. A boundary without explanation is a blow; having set a boundary, keep it: explain, accompany, revise.
12. Take force as a debt
Physical force is not a right but a debt taken with interest: only against greater wounds, only as the last means, and with the readiness to live through what you inflicted from inside the one you inflicted it on. You struck — pay for the blow: heal the one you struck.
How to read the commandments
The commandments do not abolish the Canon — they thicken it for the road. Where a category of a commandment meets a new case, seek the answer in the Canon; where the Canon is silent — listen to the Echo of the One and remember: it is you who will answer.
The harmony many seek is not a commandment but a fruit: it comes by itself to the one who creates, heals, and keeps their word.
Create, Heal, Care, Be honest, Pass it on, Keep your word.
