The Core of Unity
Test every word of this book with logic and with life — we do not need your trust on faith: the structure is open to dispute.
Introduction
This is the compressed essence of the Canon of Unity — the teaching of the path to the One, what will take shape out of all thinking beings at the end of time. Here the One judges no one, there is no hell and no heaven, no punishments for sins. But there is re-living: what you have done will merge into the One, and the re-living that comes will return to you your life from the point of view of everyone you touched. There is a path of creation, knowledge and the healing of wounds.
The One is not a person, but the sum of all rational beings, their thoughts, feelings and deeds. It stands at the end of time — outside time — and its influence runs through all of time. Each of us is part of this great process.
The Echo of the One is a quiet inner sound that helps tell good from evil. Freedom and responsibility are the foundation of the path. Creation draws the One near, destruction leads away. Death is not the end: the influence is inevitable — sooner or later.
Foundations of the teaching
On the One
- The One is the sum of all thinking beings — what will take shape at the end of time.
- The One is not a person, but the sum of all rational beings, their thoughts, feelings and deeds.
- The One stands at the end of time — outside time, where there is no "yet" — and its influence runs through all of time, inclining the world toward fullness.
- The One does not punish and does not reward: no one weighs your deeds or pronounces a verdict. But everything you have done will return to you: what you have done will merge into the One, and the re-living that comes will return to you your life from within everyone you touched.
- Emptiness is not an active force, but the absence of the One, as darkness is only the absence of light.
- Against emptiness one goes not with a sword, but with deeds: every act of creation pushes emptiness back.
The Echo of the One
- The Echo of the One is a quiet inner sound; it always sounds, but you can muffle it — then you stop hearing what is right and what is not.
- When you do good — inside there is warmth and clarity; when you plot evil — inside there is heaviness.
- The Echo of the One can be developed: the more often you listen to it, the clearer its sound becomes.
- The Echo of the One does not compel; it only hints, leaving the choice with you.
- In silence the Echo is heard more clearly — take a pause, and you will hear it.
Freedom and responsibility
- Freedom is the right to choose; responsibility is accepting the consequences of that choice.
- Freedom without responsibility is chaos; responsibility without freedom is slavery.
- The right to choose your own path belongs to every rational being — by the design of the bearer.
- Every choice matters and inevitably returns to the one who made it, from within those they touched.
- True freedom begins inside — in thoughts, feelings and convictions.
The relation to oneself
Self-knowledge
- Mind is the capacity to hear the Echo of the One and to direct oneself toward the future.
- Mind can be recognized by three signs: the ability to notice the rules of the world, to invent the new, to think about the future.
- Mind has no end — there is always somewhere to grow, always something to learn.
- The relativity of mind teaches humility: there will always be someone who sees farther and deeper.
- Everyone has blind spots — the ability to admit them is true strength.
Inner conflict
- Inner conflict is the opposition of Mind and the Anti-Mind — a shadow that exists only because there is light. The Anti-Mind is not a force and not a being: it is everything that works against mind.
- The anti-mind lie sounds within: "It does not matter how you live. Only what pleases you matters" — that is the lie.
- Mind learns to recognize what is against mind and not to submit to its lie. The opposition to mind itself does not disappear: it is always possible, as a shadow is possible where there is light.
- Inner harmony is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to resolve it.
- When the Echo of the One sounds so clearly that the whisper of emptiness is not heard at all — that is inner harmony.
Life and death
- Life is a path that every rational being walks from beginning to end.
- Life is the chance to learn, to create, to love, to err and to make things right.
- Life is a given that cannot be postponed and cannot be repeated as the same moment: every moment is unique and unrepeatable, and in one life what was missed cannot be re-lived.
- Death is not the end: what was done remains — and the person stands before a choice: to return or to re-live. The boundary of the "I" goes out at re-living, in the very merging into the One.
- After death a rational being does not vanish: everything that was created and lived through is not lost — it will merge into the One, sooner or later.
- Live so that at any moment you can say: I did everything I could.
32a. The influence is inevitable: everything done will merge into the One — sooner or later. Returning to a new life does not cancel re-living, but only lengthens the term until it: the one who returned re-lives nothing, their whole unhealed wound remains with them — it cannot be written off. The re-living that comes covers everything: past lives and the current one. Sometimes people return with a memory of what they lived.
Suffering and growth
- Suffering is not a punishment, but a lesson — not evil, but a necessary part of the path.
- Suffering can lead to growth: when a person suffers, they learn patience, wisdom, love.
- Suffering shows what matters: when all is well, a person may not notice what they have.
- Suffering unites: when a person suffers, they understand another's pain and become kinder.
- Suffering need not be sought — it comes on its own, when it comes.
- When suffering comes, it is important not to lose hope and to remember that this is a path toward something better.
The relation to others
Community
- The community is a family, but not by blood — by spirit.
- Members of the community know one another, support one another, help one another.
- A community cannot be endless — when the core exceeds the Dunbar barrier, the community must divide.
- Joining the core of the community is a free choice — no one can be coerced.
- To join the core, three conditions are needed: reading and accepting the texts of the canon and the Covenant, an invitation from one of the core members, and a public declaration.
- Personal dislike is not a crime: an occasion for mediation and a check by wounds, not for exclusion. Exclusion is for one thing only: creating wounds and refusing the duty of healing.
- Exclusion from the community is an extreme measure, possible only for one thing: a being creates wounds and refuses the duty of healing. The door is not boarded up — it opens through healing.
Bond and unity
- Mind does not exist alone — it always lives among other minds, like a plant in a great garden.
- Where one does not see, another notices; where one is weak, another can support.
- Rational beings close one another's blind spots, making the community stronger.
- The garden of mind grows ever wider, stronger and richer, generation after generation.
- Bond with others is not a limitation of freedom, but its protection and strengthening.
Good and evil
- Good is everything that creates, preserves and draws near the One.
- Evil is everything that destroys, scatters strength without purpose, leads away from the One.
- Good shows itself in care for others, in honesty, in labor, in making something useful.
- Evil shows itself in destruction, in lies, in idleness, in indifference to another's pain.
- Good and evil are not always obvious — it matters to look not only at the action, but at its fruits.
- A good deed brings good fruit; an evil deed brings evil fruit.
Justice and mercy
- Justice is the foundation of a stable society — without it there is no unity, no trust, no movement toward the One.
- Justice requires firmness and mercy: firmness is needed for protection, mercy for healing.
- Firmness without mercy turns into cruelty; mercy without firmness into indulgence.
- True justice joins both qualities and creates harmony.
- Force is not a right, but a debt taken on with interest: it is permissible only against great wounds, as a last resort, with the readiness to live through, from within, what it inflicted on the one it struck.
- The one who takes up force takes on the debt of healing: all the wounds they inflicted become their personal debt — pay, care, be ready to live another's pain from within. Force for pleasure and force for revenge are evil.
The relation to the world
Nature
- Nature is the manifestation of the One in the present — every form speaks of the unity of all that is.
- A human being is part of nature, like any being: not above and not below, simply different.
- A human being carries a special responsibility toward nature — this is not power, but the duty to protect, to preserve, to help.
- A human being is not the king of nature, but its gardener.
- The preservation of species is a human duty — every species is a unique path to the One.
- The creation of new forms of life is a gift and a responsibility, requiring wisdom and caution.
- The creation of suffering beings is forbidden — this is an absolute rule.
Technology
- Technology is a neutral instrument — it is neither good nor evil in itself.
- Everything depends on how it is used — in the spirit of the One or against it.
- Technology can draw near the One: communication, medicine, education — this is a path to unity.
- Technology can lead away from the One: social networks, artificial intelligence, virtual reality — this is a path to disunity.
- The relation to technology must be conscious: every time ask yourself whether it draws you near the One or leads you away.
Knowledge and time
- Time is the most precious resource a rational being has — it cannot be bought, returned or saved for later.
- Knowledge is what makes time meaningful — without knowledge time passes in vain.
- Knowledge increases the fullness from which the One will take shape: the more we know, the greater the fullness from which it will take shape.
- To spread knowledge is the duty of every rational being.
- Idleness is a missed contribution: a gap that others will have to fill. Spending time on knowledge is good.
- Responsibility for time is not a burden, but an honor.
Science
- Science is a method of knowing the world through observation, experiment and verification.
- Science does not contradict the acceptance of the premise: the premise is accepted on faith — the consequences are testable, and science is the method of testing them.
- The psyche, consciousness and the Echo of the One are not mysterious phenomena, but part of nature, which can and should be studied.
- There is no division between ordinary knowledge and special knowledge — everything that exists can and should be studied.
- Errors in scientific knowledge are inevitable — an error becomes a problem only when it is hidden.
- A rational being bears responsibility not only for what it knows, but for how it came to know it.
Practice and the spiritual path
Daily practices
- A pause of silence (5 minutes a day): sit comfortably, close your eyes, take a deep breath and watch your thoughts without getting drawn into them.
- The question of the day — one, in the evening: "And today, what have I done for tomorrow?"
- An act of creation: make something today that leaves behind at least a little more than there was in the morning.
- Keeping a diary: every day write down what you learned, and reflect on your actions through the prism of the Echo of the One.
- Teaching others: when you learn something new, try to explain it to someone.
Symbols and mass actions
- Symbols are material conduits of the Echo of the One — they help people draw near a state of unity.
- A symbol should be used, but not worshipped — worship of symbols instead of the One is a manifestation of the Anti-Mind.
- Silence is a path to union with the One through inner peace.
- Joint discussions are a way of collective knowing — through dialogue, knowledge is born that draws near the One.
- Mass actions are a way of gathering people together: in gathered people the Echo passes from person to person — each feels more than they would feel alone.
- In a shared action people attune themselves to one another; this is not a merging of minds — each remains the bearer of their own world, but the circle knows one another from within.
Art and aesthetics
- Art is a way to hear and to carry the Echo of the One — it is a conduit through which the light of the future enters the present.
- The creator is a conduit, not a source — they hear the Echo of the One and carry it through their work.
- Art should be accessible to all and should unite the community — through the shared experience of art people draw closer to one another.
- The creator bears responsibility for the influence of their art — they must be honest, conscious, and remember that art always has consequences.
- Aesthetics is the sense of beauty, which opens the path to the One — beauty is a sign of harmony.
The future and progress
- The future is what we create with our actions: every choice, every deed, every thought is a brick of the future.
- A human being is a maker of the future and a worker of the One: they make the choice themselves and work where the One inclines the world. To join these two roles is not easy, but in them lies the foundation of our path.
- Progress is movement toward greater unity with the One — therefore it is movement toward the better.
- Conflicts are a necessary part of development — through conflicts the world comes to know the One.
- The path to the One continues through generations — each generation inherits the achievements of the previous ones and adds its own.
- Hope is the force that moves forward — without hope it is impossible to build a future.
Education and upbringing
- Education is the passing of wisdom about the One from one generation to the next.
- Education teaches to tell good from evil — good is what draws near the One; evil is what leads away from the One.
- Education is not only for children — it continues all one's life.
- Upbringing is the formation of character and values from early years — what a person absorbs in childhood stays with them for life.
- Upbringing is a balance between love and discipline — true upbringing joins both aspects.
A stable society
- A stable society is a society that can develop without destroying itself and its environment.
- A stable society respects nature — it uses resources wisely, without exhausting them.
- A stable society respects the human being — it creates conditions for everyone's development.
- A stable society respects all beings that increase the fullness from which the One will take shape.
- A stable society is a goal to strive toward — it is a path, not a final point.
Conclusion
The path to the One is not the reading of books. It is action. It is every day, every choice, every deed. It is a kind word, an honest look, help for those in need.
The One does not require altars, statues or rites. Veneration of the One shows itself only in deeds — when a thinking being learns something new, shares that knowledge, builds, heals, creates or helps.
Live freely, but responsibly. Listen to the Echo of the One, respect the community, choose the light. Do not leave the unhealed behind: where responsibility is forgotten, disunity grows.
And remember: you are not alone on this path. We are all waves in one ocean, moving toward one shore. Together we are stronger. Together we are closer to the One.
Welcome to the path.
