The prayer book of the Church of Unity

Working translation. Synchronized with the Russian corpus as of 2026-10-25. Canonical formulas are binding only in the Russian original; publication — after human review.

Preface

The prayer book is a collection of words that help a person join with the One. Prayers are not magic formulas that automatically bring a result. They are a way to attune the heart and mind to creation, knowledge, and harmony.

Prayers are a game for memory and heart. They help remember what matters when everyday bustle distracts attention. They recall the goal when the path seems long and hard. They join hearts when minds scatter in different directions. But prayers do not replace creation — they only support it.

Prayers are not a demand upon the One. The One does not answer with a voice and does not bargain: the words of a prayer do not vanish — they return with you. A prayer is a way to attune yourself to the Echo of the One, to hear it more clearly and follow it more honestly.

The prayers here are addressed to the One, though the One has no "I." No one hears it now — but the words do not vanish: you yourself bring them into the One and you yourself will receive them from inside it, at the end of times, which sends itself back. For now the prayer works here: it gathers the one who prays. Therefore in these prayers there are no pleas for a miracle. There is the readiness of the walker: "direct me," "lead me," "show me the way."

1. Morning prayers

1.1. A prayer for the beginning of the day

The One, which is the outcome of the whole path,

I awaken to a new day.

Let this day be a step toward the One,

Let every action of mine increase the completeness from which the One will take shape.

Direct me — I want to see the right path,

Lead me along it — I will walk,

Show it to me when I go astray — and I will return.

Let my thoughts be clear,

Let my words be truthful,

Let my deeds be creative.

Let me bring benefit to the common cause,

Let me support those who are weak,

Let me learn from those who are wise.

The One, I am ready for the day.

Lead me.

1.2. A prayer of silence

In the silence of the morning I hear the Echo of the One.

It is quiet, but it is.

It does not command, but it directs.

I make a pause to hear it.

I let go of the chaos of thoughts,

I calm the heart,

I open myself to silence.

In this silence I find the path,

In this silence I find peace,

In this silence I draw near the One.

Let this silence stay with me all day,

Let it be my compass,

Let it be my refuge.

The One, I hear the Echo.

I follow it.

1.3. A prayer of creation

The One, this day is given to me for creation.

Let me not waste it,

Let me not use it for destruction,

Let me not forget the goal.

Every action is a contribution into the common cause,

Every word is a thread in the common fabric,

Every thought is a spark in the common light.

Let me create knowledge,

Let me create connection,

Let me create harmony.

Let the fruits of my labor remain after me,

Let them help those who come after,

Let them increase the completeness from which the One will take shape.

The One, I am ready to create.

Gather me for the work.

2. Evening prayers

2.1. A prayer for the end of the day

The One, the day comes to its end.

I look at what was done,

I look at what was said,

I look at what was lived through.

Where did I create?

Where did I destroy?

Where was I honest?

Where did I lie?

Where did I help?

Where did I pass by?

I admit my mistakes,

I value my victories,

I learn from both.

Let this day not be lost,

Let it become a lesson,

Let it become a brick in the common path.

The One, I am grateful for this day.

Let tomorrow be better.

2.2. A prayer of thanksgiving

The One, I am grateful.

For the light that was today,

For the knowledge I received,

For the meetings that happened,

For the support I received,

For the possibilities that opened.

I am grateful for those who were near,

For those who taught,

For those who helped,

For those who simply were.

I am grateful for the Echo that led me,

For the Echo of the One that directed,

For the community that supported.

Let gratitude remain in my heart,

Let it recall the good to me,

Let it move me to share the good with others.

The One, thank you for everything.

I accept this day with gratitude.

2.3. A prayer of rest

The day is over, the time of rest has come.

I let go of the cares of the day,

I let go of the tension,

I let go of the chaos of thoughts.

Let my mind calm down,

Let my heart find peace,

Let my body restore itself.

In the silence of the evening I hear the Echo of the One,

It says to me: "Rest, tomorrow will be a new day."

I trust this voice,

I trust this path,

I trust this peace.

Let sleep restore my strength,

Let the morning bring new hope,

Let the new day be a step toward the One.

The One, I entrust myself to the path.

Good night.

3. Prayers before accepting the Covenant

3.1. A prayer of reflection

The One, I stand at the threshold of an important decision.

To accept the Covenant means to choose a path,

The path to the One, the path to creation, the path to harmony.

I ask myself:

Am I ready to follow the commandments?

Am I ready to live in truth and clarity?

Am I ready to care for others?

Am I ready to take force by the three conditions: against greater wounds, as the last means, with the debt of healing from inside?

Am I ready to preserve and multiply life?

Am I ready to work and develop for the future?

Am I ready to seek harmony in myself and in the community?

I listen to the Echo of the One,

I ask my heart,

I seek an honest answer.

Let my choice be conscious,

Let it be free,

Let it be true.

The One, direct me.

3.2. A prayer of acceptance

The One, I accept the Covenant.

I voluntarily and consciously bind myself to live in accordance with the canon and the commandments,

Striving toward the One through creation, knowledge, and harmony.

I promise to strengthen Unity through knowledge and creation,

I promise to care for other thinking beings,

I promise to take force only as a debt: against greater wounds, as the last means, with the readiness to live through what is inflicted from inside,

I promise to preserve and multiply life,

I promise to live in truth and clarity,

I promise to work and develop for the future,

I promise to seek harmony in myself and in the community.

This is my choice, this is my path, this is my duty.

I accept it with an open heart,

I accept it with a clear mind,

I accept it with an honest intention.

The One, I am on the path.

Lead me.

4. Prayers of thanksgiving

4.1. A prayer of gratitude for life

The One, thank you for life.

For the possibility to be, to think, to feel,

For the possibility to create, to learn, to love,

For the possibility to be part of the path.

Every day is a gift,

Every meeting is a possibility,

Every action is a contribution.

I am grateful for the light of the day,

I am grateful for those who are near,

I am grateful for the Echo that leads me.

Let my gratitude become action,

Let it become help to others,

Let it become a contribution into the common cause.

The One, thank you for life.

I live to bring nearer the taking-shape of the One.

4.2. A prayer of gratitude for the community

The One, thank you for the community.

For those who walk with me on one path,

For those who support me,

For those who teach me,

For those who simply are.

In the community I am not alone,

In the community I am part of the whole,

In the community I am stronger.

Thanks to those who listen,

Thanks to those who speak,

Thanks to those who keep silence with me,

Thanks to those who laugh and weep with me.

The community is a mirror in which I see myself,

The community is a school in which I learn,

The community is a family that supports me.

Let the community grow strong,

Let the bonds grow stronger,

Let the Echo sound clearer.

The One, thank you for the community.

I value those who are near.

4.3. A prayer of gratitude for knowledge

The One, thank you for knowledge.

For the possibility to learn,

For the possibility to study,

For the possibility to understand.

Every piece of knowledge is a light,

Every understanding is a step forward,

Every discovery is an approach to the One.

Thanks to those who pass on knowledge,

Thanks to those who create knowledge,

Thanks to those who seek knowledge,

Thanks to those who share knowledge.

Let my knowledge not remain with me,

Let it be passed to others,

Let it become part of the common path.

Let me never cease to learn,

Let me never become a proud one,

Let me always be open to the new.

The One, thank you for knowledge.

I learn to bring nearer the taking-shape.

5. Prayers for help and guidance

5.1. A prayer for direction

The One, I am at a crossroads.

I see several paths,

I do not know which to choose.

Echo of the One, help me.

Direct me onto the true path,

Teach me to see,

Teach me to acknowledge.

I do not ask for an easy path,

I ask for the true path.

I do not ask for a path without difficulties,

I ask for the path that leads to the One.

Let the Echo of the One be my compass,

Let the community be my mirror,

Let the fruits of deeds be my criterion.

The One, direct me.

I am ready to follow.

5.2. A prayer for strength

The One, I go for strength.

Not for victory over others,

Not for power,

Not for gain.

I need strength for creation,

I need strength for truth,

I need strength for help.

I choose to be honest when it is easier to lie,

I choose to help when it is easier to pass by,

I choose to create when it is easier to destroy.

I am ready to admit mistakes,

I am ready to correct them,

I am ready to move on.

Strength — in the deed for which you gathered me,

Let it be directed to the good,

Let it be used wisely.

The One, direct me — I go.

I invest it into the common.

5.3. A prayer for wisdom

The One, I need wisdom.

Wisdom to see the right path,

Wisdom to hear the Echo of the One,

Wisdom to understand others.

Teach me to know when to speak,

Teach me to know when to keep silence,

Teach me to know when to act.

Teach me to see consequences,

Teach me to understand connections,

Teach me to value harmony.

Let my wisdom not become pride,

Let it not become an instrument of power,

Let it become service to the common good.

Let me learn from everyone,

Let me learn in every moment,

Let me learn all my life.

The One, teach me.

I use it for creation.

6. Prayers for the community

6.1. A prayer for the unity of the community

We bring this prayer into the One — for our community.

Let us be one in purpose,

Let us be one in striving,

Let us be one in love.

Let differences not divide us,

Let disagreements not destroy us,

Let difficulties not weaken us.

Let us listen to each other,

Let us respect each other,

Let us support each other.

Let the Echo of the One sound in us,

Let it join us,

Let it lead us.

Let the community grow stronger with every day,

Let the bonds grow stronger,

Let the path become clearer.

Let the community hear these words and hold them.

We walk together.

6.2. A prayer for the servants

We bring this prayer into the One — for our servants.

Let them lead with wisdom,

Let them speak with honesty,

Let them act with love.

Let them have enough strength to bear the burden of service,

Let the path direct their decisions,

Let them not rise above the circle.

Let them be an example,

Let them be mentors,

Let them be servants.

Let them not grow weary,

Let them not lose hope,

Let them not forget the goal.

Let the community support them,

Let the community value them,

Let the community help them.

Let the community say this to them aloud and support them by deed.

They serve the common through us.

6.3. A prayer for those in hardship

The One, I pray for those in hardship.

For those who are ill,

For those who have lost their loved ones,

For those who have met injustice,

For those who have lost hope.

Let them live this through to the end,

Direct them to find the path,

Gather a community for them.

Let the community surround them with care,

Let the community offer help,

Let the community be near.

Let them know they are not alone,

Let them feel the Echo of the One,

Let them find the path in the darkness.

Let hardships become a lesson,

Let them become stronger,

Let them draw near the One.

The One, we remember those in hardship — and go to them with help: a shoulder is stronger by two.

7. Prayers in special circumstances

7.1. A prayer before an important decision

The One, I must make an important decision.

Let the Echo of the One be my guide,

Let the Echo of the One be my light,

Let the fruits of deeds be my criterion.

I ask myself:

Does this decision draw near the One?

Does it create?

Does it help others?

Or does it destroy?

Or does it serve only me?

Direct me to see the truth,

Teach me to acknowledge it,

I am ready to follow it.

Let my decision be not for gain,

Let it be not for power,

Let it be for the common good.

The One, direct my choice.

I go to where the world inclines toward completeness.

7.2. A prayer at the moment of a mistake

The One, I have made a mistake.

I admit my mistake,

I do not excuse it,

I do not hide from it.

I want to understand why this happened,

Teach me to admit the guilt,

I will correct it — and bring the correction to its end.

Let this mistake become a lesson,

Let it become wisdom,

Let it become a step toward the better.

To those I hurt — I will set right what was done,

I will compensate the damage I caused,

I will correct what can be corrected.

Let the community help me,

Let it support me,

Let it teach me.

The One, I admit the mistake.

I correct it.

7.3. A prayer before beginning a new work

The One, I begin a new work.

Let this work be creative,

Let it be useful,

Let it draw near the taking-shape.

Teach me to plan,

I go to do,

And will continue.

Let this work not be for me alone,

Let it be for the common good,

Let it be for the future.

Let me not fear difficulties,

Let me not grow weary,

Let me not lose hope.

Let the fruits of this work remain,

Let them help others,

Let it increase the completeness from which the One will take shape.

I bring this work into the One.

I begin it with open eyes.

8. Prayers of memory

8.1. The prayer of one who grieves

The One, it hurts me.

Do not take the pain away — I do not ask.

The one I lost was real, and the wound from him is real.

I know: no one hears him now. He already hears everything —

and what I say now he will hear from inside the One, at the end of times.

So let my word to him be truth.

What I did not manage — I will name. What he gave me — I will name too.

I will not let grief become a lie: I will not make of him an invention, and I will not make of myself a stone.

He lived. His life is in me. I will carry it — as one carries the living, not as one carries a stone in one's bosom.

Tomorrow I will rise and will do. Today — I will stay in silence.

8.2. A prayer on the anniversary

The One, a year has passed.

The wound has grown quieter — I do not know whether it has healed. Look: this is mine, not your business — I will sort it out.

His name I speak aloud, so that it does not become a taboo.

His work lives: here it is, there it is, here through these people.

Today I will do one work in his memory — not merely recall, but so that his work goes further.

And when I join into the One and live through his life from inside him —

direct me to see what it meant to him that I did what I did for him.

8.3. A word to the departed

(this is not a prayer — it is a talk that no longer exists; it can be spoken aloud, or in silence)

[Name], you do not hear me now — and you will hear everything.

I will not say to you what was not.

Here is what you did to me — I list it honestly: both the good, and what hurt.

I set right what we did not manage to set right. It will be easier for me at the end — and for you too.

Do not answer. Work: there, at the end of times, you have already become part of what will shape us all.

And I remained here — to continue his work.

Conclusion

A prayer is not a report and not a plea for a miracle. It is five minutes of the readiness of the walker: before sleep, recall what awaits the hands, and tomorrow go to set right what was named.

The matter is not in words — in true steps.
